Hi! I am Jamie Csiki! I am the founder of Advocate4me, a health advocate service based in the Houston, Texas area. I hail from Michigan where I was born and raised. But as we say in Texas, "I got here as soon as I could". Just a little Texas humor. My journey as a Licensed Professional Nurse started over 20 years ago. Gaining experience in multiple areas of the health care field. Including but not limited to acute care, geriatrics, home health, substance abuse, behavioral health, case management, health and human services coordination and most recently working in the health insurance industry.

What I noticed along the way was that patients and families were increasingly voicing concerns and frustrations over not understanding the "what" or "why" of their diagnosis and treatments. The outcomes I saw were a decrease in patient compliance with their medications, treatments, and follow up care. Many times leading to increased hospitalizations and poor outcomes. I also seen patients being denied coverage for services by their insurance companies due to wrong coding by the provider. Sometimes by the insurance company's lack of proper review.
